Twin City Die Castings Adds ISO 45001 Certification, Continuing Legacy of Excellence
Twin City Die Castings (TCDC) is proud to announce that it has achieved ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System certification along with the renewal of its ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System certification. With this achievement, all three of its locations are now certified to the IATF 16949, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards.
TCDC received the initial certification of its quality management system in 2001, specifically tailored for the automotive industry, and has continued to expand on its capabilities since that time. The ISO 45001 certification is a new milestone, highlighting enhanced safety practices and a safe working environment. Together, these respected certifications highlight TCDC's commitment to environmental sustainability and the health and safety of its employees.
This certification process involved comprehensive audits of TCDC's environmental and safety policies, procedures, and practices. Conducted by an independent third-party certification body, the audits examined how TCDC identifies, controls, and mitigates environmental and workplace risks across all its operations.
"Twin City Die Castings Company is proud to join the ranks of organizations worldwide committed to upholding the highest standards of occupational health and safety,” said Dave Honer, Director of EHS. “We are pleased with the results of the audit and the recognition of our efforts in environmental management and occupational health and safety," he concluded.
